ELIGIBILITY OFTHE CANDIDATE :

  • The candidates for the posts of Junior CLerk-cum-Copyist, Stenographer Grade III and
    Junior Typist :
  • A-Shall be a citizen of India
  • Shall have passed at least +3 examination or such other qualification as are equivalent
    to +3 examination of a recognized University.
  • Shall have passed at least DipLoma in Computer AppLication from a recognized Institute.
  • C-Shall be over 18 years and beLow 42 years of age as on 18.07.2026 i.e. the last date fixed
    for receipt of applications. Provided that, the upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 (five)
    years in case of SC/ST/SEBC/Women candidates & in respect of PWD candidates and
    Ex-serviceman candidates shaLL be relaxed in accordance with the provisions made
    under relevant Acts, Rules, Orders or Instructions, for the time being in force, issued in
    that behalf by the Government.
  • (Date of birth entered in the High School Certificate or equivaLent certificate by the concerned
    Board / Council will only be accepted by the District Recruitment Committee).
  • Shall be able to speak. read and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent
  • to the M.E. standard.
  • Shall be of good character.
  • Shall be of sound health, good physique and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity.
  • Shall not have more than one spouse living, if married.
  • Shall have possessed minimum speed of 80 (Eighty) words in shorthand and 40 (Forty) words in type writing per minute through Computer System. (For the post of Stenographer Gr.III
  • Shall have possessed a minimum speed of 40 (Forty) words per minute in English
    Type Writing through Computer System (For the post of Junior Typist).
    Government Servants, whether Temporary or Permanent. are eligible to apply,
    provided that they possess the requisite Qualification and are within the prescribed
    age-limit as provided under Para 2
  • of the Advertisement. They must inform their respective Heads of Office in writing regarding submission of their appLications for
    this recruitment and obtain “No objection Certificate” and same shall be submitted along with the application.

ELigibiLity Criteria for the post of SaLaried Amin :

i. The candidates must satisfy the criteria No.(a), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h). (k). of para-2.1. as stated above.
ii.The candidates shall have passed matriculation examination or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
iii. The candidates shall have passed Revenue Inspector Training.

District Court Ganjam Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

The selection process is multi-stage and varies by post. Candidates shortlisted based on a career merit list are called for a written test, followed by skill tests and a viva-voce.

Stage 1 – Career Merit List

After applications are received, merit lists are prepared in descending order of total percentage of marks in HSC + 2 + 3 (or equivalent) examinations, separately for General and Reserved categories. Candidates up to twenty times the actual vacancy in each category are called for the written test.

Arithmetic (Common)

General Knowledge (Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist only)

Applications must be submitted offline only – either in person during office hours or by Speed Post/Registered Post.

  1. Download the prescribed application format Form-A from the official notification or the District Court website: https://ganjam.dcourts.gov.in
  2. Fill in the form completely in your own handwriting and sign it.
  3. Mention the post name clearly in underlined CAPITAL LETTERS on the top of the envelope.
