Eligibility Criteria for OPSC OCS 2024
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university, ability to read, write, and speak Odia language.
- Age Limit (as on 01/01/2023): 21 to 38 years (43 years for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen/Women, 48 years for PwDs with 40% permanent disability).
Selection Process for OPSC OCS 2024
- Preliminary Examination
- Objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- Two papers, each of 200 marks.
- Qualifying nature; candidates must score above 33% in Paper 2 to qualify for the main exam.
- Mains Examination
- Divided into Part 1 (Odia and English Language – Qualifying) and Part 2 (Papers I to VII – Counted for Merit).
- Each paper is of 3 hours duration.
- Personality Test/ Interview
