The growth of OPTCL is supported with advance technologies such as System Automation, STAMS, DRONE based Survey, PG – DARPAN Software, O-LAMP & SAP etc. OPTCL has successfully executed transmission projects up to the 400 kV level and is now planning to venture into the 765 kV transmission system.

Eligibility Conditions:

- B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.
- An Indian national with maximum age of 63 years as on 01.06.2026.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in the design, engineering, execution, or project management of 400 kV/220 kV transmission lines and substations.
- Minimum 5 years of specific experience in 765 kV transmission line or substation projects.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of Engineers.
- Demonstrated involvement in the design and execution of at least two 765 kV transmission line or substation projects.
Mode of Selection:
- Selection shall be made through personal interview by a duly constituted Selection Committee.
